13th century Sunni Shafi’i scholar Ibn Khallakan in his book “Wafayat al-A’ayan”, has given a brief account of the birth of the Imam, Mohammed son of Hasan al-Askari a.s.
He ends the biography of the Imam a.s. by saying ” Rahimahu Allahu Ta’ala” May Allah have mercy on his soul.
